This was our second visit in 2 weeks before returning home to Tasmania. We were welcomed back like old friends. Terry and Bon are lovely. On our day of depature we had a very early pick up (4.10am) and they said to just leave anything we didn't want to take home and theycwould get rid of it.

Well set in the Merivale district of Christchurch, The Adelphi is situated 1.4 km from Christchurch Art Gallery, 2 km from Hagley Park and 4.3 km from Christchurch Railway Station.

Lovely motel ideally located 5 minutes from the central city. Five minutes walk from either the boutique village of Merivale with its selection of cafes and bars, or the Victoria street restaurant area. Also very close to Hagley park for a morning stroll. The motel itself has recently been totally refurbished and has been tastefully outfitted. An added bonus is the addition of a washer and dryer in each unit, very handy when travelling! This is a family run motel and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I recommend highly.

Great service recovery from the reception staff. The request for twin beds was not registered, however the staff managed to put one of us into another room for the night.

FYFFE on Riccarton, motel a Christchurch

FYFFE on Riccarton Motor Lodge is 500 metres from Canterbury University and a 10-minute drive from Christchurch Airport.

It was a very clean and quiet room in a great location. Exceptional host and friendly staff. As we have a young adult going to UC we will try to stay here every time we come to Christchurch in the next few years :)

Airport Delta Motel, motel a Christchurch

Conveniently located just 3 minutes’ drive from Christchurch International Airport, this motel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport.

This is a excellent hotel with the kindest, most thoughtful managers. The garden apartment was roomy, ultra clean, beautifully equipped, and had plenty of thoughtful touches and extras. If you are transiting through Christchurch airport, look no further, this is a great value for the money, it has a complete kitchen with coffee, tea and milk provided, it has a roomy bathroom and closet, it is close to lovely Burnside Park. It was a true respite for we weary travelers, and we were aided in every possible way by the fabulous managers, Paula and Phil.
