Location was excellent, within one to two minutes of the river, the Abbey, the baths, food shopping; five minutes to both the bus and train stations. The best restaurant within one minute of the flat. Lots of shopping nearby and easy to reach residential areas, although a bit of a climb as much of the city stretches up from the river. Many twists and turns, and cobbled alleys to explore. I had a great daytrip to Bradford on Avon, one way by train, and return through countryside and little villages. Excellent towns further afield. Although it was cold, sunny, rainy, one day with snow, and winter clothes pretty much required, there were lots of people around, and daily hoards of tourists in for the day. It felt safe at all times. The flat was fully equipped with the most expensive appliances and small goods, a modernized kitchen and bathroom, restful bedroom and windows looking out the front as well as the back so it was very bright, but private too. Great WIFI and TV reception. Excellent care and information from Brenda, the owner. Such a beautiful and walkable city.

Had pretty much everything you would need. You can see the stars clearly at night. Very private. Quiet and safe neighborhood with close to bus route to town. I walked into town and back a few times to get a workout and see more neighborhoods. Nice host. Good base for exploring the area over 5 days. Best accommodation of my 3 week trip in the UK by far.
