We were looking for relaxation and this was a perfect fit. Away from typical tourist destinations, a fantastic, inviting pool and a sandy beach a short walk away. The main town area was also in walking distance (15 min), with many shops, a grocery market and excellent restaurants.

Loooved the beautiful hotel with paintings and amazing hallways. It was a great stay with cute breakfast that sent me off with good vibes for the rest of the day. The room cleaning was spot on every day I returned to the room. I will definitely stay here everything I want to go to Favignana

We spent four wonderful days at beautiful Favignana, a real gem. A really laid back island feeling. On rental bikes we explored the entire island. Everywhere views to the bluest sea, and swimming in crystal clear water.
We enjoyed great local food in some of the many restaurants.

What a fabulous place to visit.
What a fabulous place to visit. We stayed 6 nights which I think was a little too long. 3-4 nights would have been sufficient. We hired motor scooters which was a great way to see the island. Such a beautiful location with amazing clear waters to swim in.

A hidden gem, beautiful island for walking and cycling.
A hidden gem, beautiful island for walking and cycling. Great food options and lots of history. We hiked up to the old fort which had great views of the whole island. It’s derelict and dilapidated, a bit creepy really but Urbexer’s would love it as there’s stuff to see, like an old bathroom with a stone bath and what looks like a generator. We also visited the Turtle Conservation Centre, the talk is in Italian but there’s information translated and you get the gist. Some of the buildings in the port area are very beautiful and old, it has a 1930’s feel to it in places. Palazzo di Florio built by the family who made their fortune from the tuna works they built, also beautiful, has palm trees an looks stunning lit up at night.
Bicycle hire is the thing on the island which is mainly flat. We cycled but there are many places hiring electric bikes, and boats too. If you’re flush, hire a boat - take a picnic, perfecto!

This island is very small, but has so many amazing beaches! Renting a bike is the easiest way to get from beach to beach, definitely a must. There are several great restaurants and all the staff are incredibly friendly. (Although very little English is spoken by most) Could easily spend 3-5 full days on the island.

Favignana is a unique place to visit.
Favignana is a unique place to visit. We stayed there for 6 days which was enough time to truly unwind and enjoy the beautiful beaches that are plentiful in the island. The water at most beaches is crystal clear I would recommend visiting liddo burrone if you want to enjoy reclining on a deck chair with an umbrella. Cala Rossa or Bue Marino if you are a more adventurous swimmer and Cala Azzura if you just want to chill. The nearby islands have beautiful grottos you can explore that are just as nice as those in Capri. It is helpful to have basic Italian to communicate, as most of the tourists in this area are Italian and thus most of the hospitality staff have little English.

Stay for at least two nights, one day to explore the island and second day to take boat trips to the other smaller islands. It is an amazing island , great bays, lovely restaurants. We rented a bike this gets you al around the island, go to agruturismo L'Alencio to see the sun going down.
We loved it !
The location of this apartment is great. However, there were a few communication issues with the host. There is no information binder or anything provided inside the apartment about the facilities. There was a light switch in the bathroom that turned off the water heater and the shower was freezing since it was flipped off. The host also told us the WiFi was off on the entire island and that was why her network wasn't appearing. Unfortunately this was not true because we had used WiFi at a hotel earlier in the day.
I had a great experience during my stay. The room was on the first floor with a nice view of the pool and the palm trees. It had enough space for my stuff and it was sparkling clean. The hotel is located near the port, which was convenient as I was arriving by ferry, but it's also walking distance from the town centre so we could enjoy the restaurants of the town. It has parking for additional charge (I think it's EUR5/day).
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices and the staff was extremely nice.
All was just perfect: the host's availability, the location (we took a motorbike to visit the island, but you could easily walk to the center from the apartment within just 8-10 minutes), the accomodation itself - clean and had all the necessary equipment for an apartment.
Cannot complain about anything, if you come to Favignana this is the definitely a great place to stay, super close to the center but still a little bit outside to enjoy the peacefulness of this island!
The location was perfect for us, very close to the harbour where the ferry comes in and very close to the main Favignana town and walking distance to a really great section of great restaurants. The room was very spacious overlooking a beautiful garden & 10 metres from the sea. The room was immaculately clean. I used the massage service which was also excellent.
Three location is very convenient to all the best beaches and the gardens are stunning. Truly unique to Favignana and unlike anything you'll find elsewhere - the grounds exceed expectations. The pool is fantastic and we found the staff very friendly. Given the limited options available on the island, I'd say this Giardino dell'impossibile is one of the best.
The hotel was in a great location near the town. The rooms are nice and breakfast was good. The hotel can organise bike rentals that arrive within minutes which are a great way to see the island and has a shuttle bus to a lovely beach. Favignana is one of the most beautiful islands I have ever been to and this is a great place to stay while you are there
The room decor was nice and the location just perfect, at the centre but in a quiet area of Favignana! Linen and towels were clean and the room (quadruple for 3 persons) was spacious. Sig.ra Lucrezia was helpful with several tips. The transfer from and to Trapani airport was well-organised and all was smooth. Would return.
This property was in a perfect location! Super close and walking distance from the port. Bed was comfy, everything was in excellent condition. Federico and Tony were THE BEST HOSTS they were extremely kind and gave us so many useful tips and great recommendations for exploring Favignana! We will definitely be back!
Appartment located 10’ walk from the peer. Freshly renovated with great taste and really comfy. It has everything to stay for a longer period and cook if needed but also advantages like in an hotel as cleaning was done every day. Roberta was the best hostess, speaks perfect English, gave good recommendations.
Staff very friendly, breakfast was lovely great choice different cakes and pastries. Hired an electric bike as some form of transport was needed for the location and to see the island. Our first impression of the hotel wasn’t the best as lots of gravel but it is like a miniature village. Pool area was lovely.
the best stay I’ve had in two weeks in Sicily. Giuseppe and Mladen are the best hosts. they picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry, got me a scooter for the day, helped me when the scooter tire was low on air. the room was very nice with a big bed and very comfortable. In a great location.
Favignana is heaven and staying at Dimore delle Tonnare is like having your own little piece of paradise. The host Michele is fabulous - warm, welcoming, helpful, and available. The stylish flat was recently updated and is very comfortable - we couldn’t have asked for more!
Nice unique hotel inside of an old stone quarry.
The hotel is quieter as a bit out of the touristic area.
The reception is always at your disposal and their tips for food and activities are the best.
Breakfast is rich with Sicilian sweets and savory speciality.
Room was pretty perfect, amazing value. The location is absolutely spot-on, very close to the port.
Antonino was such a good host, gave us a very detailed idea of what to do in Favignana, and let us leave our bags with him after check-out.
The patio upstairs was huge and after sunset perfect to spend time in a cool spot, the location is very quiet but at the same time just 2 min moped drive from Favignana centre.
An absolutely amazing property in the heart of Favignana (but still very quiet!). Such lovely hosts and the breakfast is beautifully prepared. Would love to come back!
