Special mention to receptionist Anna who made us fish and chips for dinner and gave us many recommendations to explore the Snæfellsnes Penisula. She even helped us to find the northern lights at night!

Cozy and quiet room with all facilities. We felt very much at home there. Great location for visiting Snaefellsness. The rooms were at the back of a very welcoming café/restaurant. It was great to have these on site. The food was excellent. We were very pleased we were given our room 1 hour early since we flew in that morning from Denver and had missed the night.

It is located in a central area with low tourism activity, which is suitable for an extended stay. We stayed a week. We wanted solitude with access to hikes, mountains, highlands, waterfalls and glaciers, and we got it. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff is very kind and accommodating.
