Situated in Ha Long, 90 metres from Bai Chay Beach, Ha Long Essence Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. - location is quiet but right beside to the beach. - food you need go further to the city, but no problem because staff provide scooter for rent. - bed is totally soft and comfy, with AC working well, I slept like a baby. - room was super clean and spacious. - they also offer late check out when I said that I want to stay a bit longer, but not too long. - I forgot my wallet in my room and was immediately returned by the cleaner, she have done her good job. - overall the hotel itself is quite new, alright and worths the money, got nothing to complaint about it.

Helped us ride mopeds, book a boat trip and gave a great suggestion of restaurants.

Halong Bay on uskomattoman kaunis alue ja se kannattaa käydä katsomassa. Risteilyalusta ja hyttiä valitessa on hyvä ottaa huomioon, että mainoskuvat antavat usein liian positiivisen kuvan majoituksesta. Ei kannata ottaa halvemmasta päästä jos antaa vähänkin arvoa hyvälle tasolle.

I would highly recommend this hotel based on my experience. The location near the harbour was great, and the friendly staff made for a pleasant stay. The highlight, however, was definitely the very good breakfast. It was delicious and had plenty of options. Overall, the hotel offered very good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location. I especially loved the ladies that gave us a massage. They took their time to and made sure we were completely relaxed from beginning to end. Unfortunately I have forgotten their names 🥺. The ferry to the hotel was also lovely. 5 start treatment.

Cat Ba Dream Hotel overlooks the waterfront esplanade and the bay of Cat Ba, it is quite majestic. The room is large enough with a big window to capture that majestic view. Bed is large and comfortable for a good deep sleep. I had originally booked a "high floor" but that did not guarantee us a view, so I had to upgrade to get the view, well worth the few extra $s. Booked a cruise and a cheap motor bike and the forward bus journey to Ninh Binh. All good experiences at Cat Ba Dream Hotel.
